April 28 is “World Day” for health and safety at work. April 28 is the day workers around the globe will stop to think about lives lost and serious injuries caused by unsafe work practises. The International Labour Organization (ILO) is calling this day “Memorial Day”.

Chris Lawrence will lead the recognition and reinforce the safety culture within the team. At AMIA we care about safety, think first, safety first is the policy. A BBQ lunch will be offered to the workforce, followed by a regular tool box meeting where the World Day recognition will be discussed.
